Immune-Boosting Sea Moss Gummies

Boost your immunity naturally with these Planted Seeds Ginger Turmeric Sea Moss gummies! Don't trust just any pre-packaged brand - it's easy to make these nutritious gummies at home with ingredients you trust. 

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup orange juice, fresh, not from concentrate
  • 2 tablespoon agar agar powder
  • ⅛ teaspoon cinnamon
  • 3 tablespoon Planted Seeds Ginger Turmeric Gold Sea Moss Gel
  • Optional: 2 teaspoon freshly minced ginger (for extra ginger-y gummies)
  • Optional: 1 tablespoon agave nectar or maple syrup (for sweeter gummies)

Instructions:

  1. Pour the orange juice into a small saucepan together with the agar agar powder, ginger (if adding), and cinnamon. Whisk until ingredients are evenly combined.
  2. Stir in the Planted Seeds sea moss gel and optional sweetener.
  3. Reduce heat to low-medium. Whisk briskly and bring the mixture to a gentle simmer (DO NOT BOIL). You may notice a few lumps from the sea moss gel which will start to dissolve as you continue to whisk. Continue to whisk until mixture begins to slightly thicken. Do not overcook, as the mixture will thicken as it cools. 
  4. Using a dropper (or a very small teaspoon) fill gummy mold. Make sure to work quickly, as the mixture sets fast. 
  5. Place the mold in the refrigerator for up to an hour until the gummies are firm to the touch. Once ready, gently push the mold upwards to release the gummies.
  6. Store in a jar, refrigerated, for up to one week.
