Ingredients:
- 3 cups fresh or frozen (thawed) strawberries
- ¼ cup chia seeds
- ¼ cup Planted Seeds Elderberry Gold Sea Moss Gel
- 1-2 Tbs maple syrup or agave nectar (adjust to taste)
- 1 whole lemon, zested and juiced
Instructions:
- In a small saucepan over low heat, add berries, maple syrup, lemon zest, and lemon juice, and bring to a low boil, about 5 minutes. Stir occasionally, breaking up the berries as they soften.
- Turn the heat to medium-high and allow the mixture to boil for about 10 minutes, or until the liquid is reduced by half, stirring occasionally.
- Reduce the heat to low and add chia seeds. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring frequently. You will notice that the jam will begin to thicken.
- Turn off the heat and stir in sea moss. Allow jam to cool for at least 10 minutes and then transfer the jam into a mason jar.
- Once cool, store jam in the refrigerator.
