Strawberry Chia Sea Moss Jam

Elevate your breakfast with this nutrient-packed strawberry chia sea moss jam with Planted Seeds Elderberry Sea Moss Gel. Bursting with antioxidants and omega-3s, this homemade jam is a delicious way to start your day.

  1. In a small saucepan over low heat, add berries, maple syrup, lemon zest, and lemon juice, and bring to a low boil, about 5 minutes. Stir occasionally, breaking up the berries as they soften.
  2. Turn the heat to medium-high and allow the mixture to boil for about 10 minutes, or until the liquid is reduced by half, stirring occasionally.
  3. Reduce the heat to low and add chia seeds. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring frequently. You will notice that the jam will begin to thicken.
  4. Turn off the heat and stir in sea moss. Allow jam to cool for at least 10 minutes and then transfer the jam into a mason jar.
  5. Once cool, store jam in the refrigerator.

Enjoy this nutritious strawberry jam on toast, add a dollop to your favorite yogurt, or just eat it by the spoonful! It will stay for up to 1 week in the fridge or up to 2 months in the freezer.
